Real Stories, Real Results.

Today, we wanted to share with you a powerful testimonial from one of our readers, who experienced a significant transformation in their health after implementing the advice and recommendations found in the book Super Gut, which we have been discussing in our recent posts.

Here's what she had to say:

Hey, Excel and Thrive fans!

I’m about to turn 32, and I’ve been dealing with varying levels of unusual and undiagnosable health issues since I was about 16. I’ve been to countless specialists, had every test, scan, and blood panel imaginable, and have never gotten answers. Over time, changing circumstances, various medications, therapies, and diets I’ve watched my symptoms change, improve, worsen, and multiply. A year after I had my son, I found myself 75lbs heavier, on 8 prescriptions, and struggling so much from pain and fatigue that I was unable to perform daily tasks. At the end of November, my doctor called a Hail Mary and asked me to go all in on the protocol laid out by Dr. Davis in Supergut. I can now report I’ve lost nearly 25lbs, I am weaning off my 7th prescription (leaving only one), I’ve gained so much more energy, and my most debilitating symptoms are improving. It hasn’t all been easy - the 4 week SIBO protocol was brutal - but it showed me how sick I was and that I was taking the right steps to resolve serious issues. Now in the maintenance period, I look forward to my yogurt (which is delicious!) and it gets easier every day to make the right choices. I’m happy to say I’m losing weight, anxiety, pain, prescription medications, specialist visits, Mom guilt, and a slew of unhealthy decisions and habits. So what do you have to lose?
