Our Daily Lymphatic Massage Routine
We have been excited to let you in on a wellness hack we have began incorporating into our daily routine: lymphatic massage. We are absolutely loving it.
Just five minutes a day, every single day, for stunning skin, reduced inflammation, enhanced immune health, youthful fascia, a sharp brain, improved energy levels, and better detox pathways. Honestly, who wouldn’t want that?
If you’re new to lymphatic massage, let me introduce you to the perfect place to start: The BIG 6™. This is the base lymphatic drainage routine I incorporate daily, and we highly recommend everyone start here.
This is a powerful self-care technique developed to improve fluid flow throughout the body. By working with the primary locations for lymphatic and blood flow, this method promotes healing and overall vitality.
What Are the BIG 6™ Points?
Collarbone (Below and Above) – Stimulating the lymph nodes around your collarbone helps clear lymphatic congestion in the head, neck, and upper chest.
Side of the Neck (C1/C2) – This area is crucial for draining lymph from the brain and neck. It’s amazing for reducing that feeling of puffiness and congestion that can build up throughout the day.
Pectoral/Axillary (Shoulder Joint) – Working this spot improves lymphatic drainage from the arms and chest area. It’s particularly beneficial if you have tension or stiffness in your shoulders.
Abdomen – The abdomen is a major center for lymphatic drainage and blood flow. Gentle massage here helps reduce bloating, improves digestion, and supports detoxification.
Inguinal (Groin Crease) – Massaging this area boosts lymphatic flow from your legs and lower body, aiding in the removal of toxins and reducing swelling.
Popliteal (Behind the Knees) – This often-overlooked area is essential for lymphatic drainage in the legs. Gentle circular motions help reduce fluid buildup and promote smooth circulation.
To perform the BIG 6™, always work in this order. It helps move nutrients into tissue via arterial blood flow and moves waste out through lymphatic drainage and venous blood flow.

I’m committed to doing this routine for five minutes every day. It’s simple, quick, and incredibly effective. Whether you’re chasing glowing skin or just want to feel more energized and less inflamed, lymphatic massage is a must. And what is more, this technique can be applied to your face as well!
If you’ve been waking up with a puffy face, experiencing congestion, or nagging neck pain, you might be experiencing excess cortisol. It’s time to try a lymphatic face massage.
Say Goodbye to Cortisol Face!
How to Do It:
1.) Start at the sides of your neck, just below the ears. Using gentle, sweeping motions, massage downward toward your collarbone. This stimulates lymph flow away from the face.
2.) Move to your jawline and cheeks, working your way toward the sides of your neck with gentle, circular motions.
3.) Finally, finish at the collarbone with light tapping to encourage drainage.
This easy, five-minute self-massage can get your lymph draining ASAP, reduce puffiness, clear up congestion, relieve tension in the neck and jaw area, and help combat the effects of stress.
