Football, Crisp Air, and Healthy Beef Chili
How is the weather? For us there has been a familiar breeze in the air. There’s just something about fall approaching that makes us want to slow down, cozy up, and gather with the people we love.

The Recipe: Healthy Beef Chili
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 6
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (grass-fed)
1 quart beef bone broth
1 (14.5 oz) can fire roasted tomatoes
2 carrots, chopped
½ cup green bell pepper, chopped
¼ cup red onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, diced
½ Tbsp ghee
2–3 tsp Celtic sea salt
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp oregano
¼ tsp chipotle powder
(Optional) cooked beans of choice
Directions:
Heat ghee in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add peppers and onions; cook until soft and fragrant. Stir in garlic for 1 minute.
Add ground beef, salt, and spices. Brown the beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add tomatoes, bone broth, carrots, and beans (if using). Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve it however you like it! We like to ladle into bowls and top with shredded cheese, sour cream, cilantro, onions, or jalapeños.
